What kind of wax is used in Scentsy Bars and Scentsy Bricks?
The Scentsy Candle and Wickless Scentsy Bars are made with a custom, high-quality paraffin wax blend. It is designed for a specific scent load and low melt point.
What kind of fragrance is used in Scentsy Products?
Scentsy Products are manufactured with fragrance oils. Fragrance oils can be all-natural or laboratory-reproduced copies of natural aromatic chemicals, depending on cost-effectiveness. In some cases, Scentsy Products also contain essential oils–natural oils derived from plants that can have therapeutic effects and are produced without regard to their cost-effectiveness. Scentsy Products may contain essential oils but do not necessarily contain them, so we make no claims about essential oils in our marketing. Please beware of unscrupulous marketing campaigns. “Infused with essential oil” could mean nothing more than one drop of essential oil in a very large batch. “Inspired by essential oil” means nothing more than the product contains fragrance oil.
Do Scentsy products contain phthalates?
No. Scentsy Products are made with fragrance oils that do not contain phthalates.
How long will a Scentsy Bar’s fragrance last?
That depends on a number of factors, including the size of the room, the humidity and temperature in the room, and how many sections of our Scentsy Bars are used at a time. Your biological makeup and unique reaction to smell will also influence how long a scent seems to last. In general, a Scentsy Bar lasts approximately 40 to 80 hours. This wide variation in time is due to the composition of different fragrances as well as the factors described above. A light fragrance such as mint will not last as long as a heavy bakery fragrance.
How are Scentsy Bars and Bricks measured?
Scentsy Bars and Scentsy Bricks are measured by weight, not volume. A Scentsy Bar weighs at least 2.4 oz; a Scentsy Brick weighs at least 16 oz. Individual Bars and Bricks may weigh a little more, depending on the fragrance, but they will never weigh less.
What wattage of light bulb do Scentsy Warmers use?
Our Full-Size Scentsy Warmers use a maximum 25-watt bulb. Scentsy Mid-Size Warmers use a maximum 20-watt bulb, and a Plug-In Scentsy Warmers take a maximum 15-watt bulb. Each warmer comes with a light bulb.
Are Scentsy Warmers UL listed?
Each electrical component used in the manufacture of a Deluxe Scentsy Warmer is UL listed: the housing the light bulb screws into, the cord, the plug and the switch. The UL number can be found right on each of the components except the switch (which is too small to include a UL number but does have the “UL” trademark on it).
How do I change the wax in a Scentsy Warmer?
For a Full- or Mid-Size Scentsy Warmer, turn the Warmer off first. Then, carefully pour liquid wax back into the original Clamshell if it is still fragrant and you’d like to reuse it, or into a disposable container if to throw it away. Wipe the dish out with a paper towel and you are ready to start with a new fragrance. For a Plug-In Scentsy Warmer, turn the unit off for 30-60 seconds and carefully use a paper towel to wipe the wax out of the warmer.

How can I Buy Scentsy Products?
You can Buy Scentsy with a Credit card, Cash or Check. If you Buy Scentsy Online, you will have to pay with a Credit Card.
How much of my Scentsy Bar do I use at a time?
One Scentsy Bar comes in a clam shell with eight break-a-part cubes. Choose your favorite candle bar scent, break off one or two cubes and place in our warmer. Next turn on your Scentsy Warmer…relax and enjoy. You can add more cubes as time goes on or can switch out to enjoy another scent.
How hot does the Scentsy Wax get?
The wax temperature is very low, just above body temperature. The Scentsy Wax never gets hot enough to burn anyone since we use a low watt light bulb.
What is the Scentsy Shipping Policy?
Shipping is always free for home, basket and book parties with $150 or more in total retail sales. Direct ship orders to individual customers add 10%. Shipping to Hawaii or Alaska is 10% with a 20% shipping charge for direct ship orders in those states. View the Scentsy Shipping Policy.
What is Scentsy Order Delivery time?
Approximately 2 to 3 weeks from when the Scentsy Party closes or an order is placed.

Can I sell Scentsy Online?
Yes. Independent Consultants can Sell Scentsy Products online via their online Scentsy replicated website. All online advertising must first be approved by the home office.
Can I Sell Scentsy outside of Home Parties?
Yes! When you Join Scentsy, Consultants are allowed to Sell Scentsy at local events, fairs, shows, and expos. You can elect to purchase inventory to resale at the events or take orders only. The choice is yours. Policy is only one Scentsy Consultant per event, the first to register and pay for the event.
Does Scentsy Candles have sales requirements?
The policy to remain an active Scentsy Consultant, you must place at least one order of $150 or more, in a quarter. Every time you place a qualifying order of $150 or more order, the requirement is fulfilled.
How can I earn Scentsy Candles Commissions?
To earn commissions on your team, you must be a Lead Consultant and sell a minimum of $500, per month, in personal retail volume to qualify.
A Lead Consultant is a person who has $500 in monthly personal retail sales, $1000 in Group Wholesale Volume in a month and one active frontline Scentsy Consultant.
Are there any fees for Hostess Rewards?
A $5 Host Rewards Fee – Party Fee can be paid either by the Host or the Consultant. Many Scentsy Consultants use this as a thank you gift for the Host and pay the fee themselves.
How Much is the Scentsy Starter Kit?
Scentsy Starter Kits are $99 plus shipping and handling. Your Starter kit contains all 80+ scent samples, catalogs, order forms, business cards, and everything you will need to start your successful Scentsy Candle Business. This also includes your website for the first three months.
How long does it take to receive my Scentsy Starter Kit?
Scentsy generally ships starter kits within 72 hours of receiving your application. Starter Kits are shipped via UPS.
Are we required to purchase the “Scentsy Warmer and Scent of the Month” Kit?
No. We are never required to buy products. Scentsy does offer an “Opt In” Scent of the Month Kit and a Warmer of the Month Kit to its consultants. These kits are offered at a substantial discount price to help grow your business.
How do Scentsy Customers make payment?
Checks need to be made out to the Consultant, NOT Scentsy, as we submit Scentsy Party orders online. At home parties, you as the consultant, may ask the guests to write their checks out to the Hostess, and then the Hostess writes one check out to you the consultant. For customers paying by check, payment is made using the Consultant’s credit card or a debit card after the customer’s checks clear. Scentsy does not charge consultants to process credit cards, and accepts VISA, MC, AMEX, and Discover.
Can a Hostess save their Scentsy Rewards for later use?
No. The Hostess must use their 1/2 price and free products earned at the time they submit their party or they will lose their benefits. They do not carry over. View the Scentsy Rewards page.
Do Consultants receive a discount on Scentsy Products?
As a Scentsy Candles consultant, we pay for our product upfront and then are issued our commission on the 10th of each month in the form of a paper check. If you are a new consultant, you would enter the order or party and earn your commission when they issue checks the following month. The commission take the place of a discount on personal purchases.
